The first drive in Spain took place at Ventosilla in 1894, organised by the Duke of Santoña with HRM King Alfonso XIII.

Built in the 15th Century, as a hunting lodge for the wealthy and powerful cardinals of Toledo, the Palace has been enlarged and improved by succeeding generations of the Teba family.
Today you will find the palace retains the atmosphere and character of centuries past, combined with facilities that will meet the expectations of the most discerning modern traveller.
The gardens of the palace were designed by French landscaper, Jean Claude Nicolas Forestier at the end of the 19th Century, and provide the perfect, peaceful retreat after a day in the field.
We will be happy to guide you through the process of booking; from your first enquiry to your arrival at Ventosilla. We will handle all discussions with the estate from bag size and rental guns to special requests and dietary requirements. We can even be on site for your trip to help with arrangements and coach you on the peg.
There is a brief outline of what to expect and what is included below:
-Bags of 1200 to 1400 Birds, over 2 days.
-F.Beesley loan guns included.
-Maximum number of guns for a line is 12.
-Full board and lodging for 20 guests (10 guns with 1 companion per person) at Ventosilla Palace included.
-Taco (picnic) in the countryside during the shoots included.
-All transportation (to and from Madrid and in the field) included.
-Hunting licenses and compulsory hunting liability insurance included.
-The quoted price covers the cost of the whole group, whatever the number of guns in that group.
-Shooting Season at Ventosilla: 1st October to 28th February.
-Extra partridges over 1400 birds is possible at an additional cost.
